Duane Haugan was on the U.S.S. Bristol  in 1960 and 1961.  He left as a Radarman 2nd class and later served aboard the U.S.S. Glennon DD840.

Duane and Kathy live in New Hope, Minnesota.  They have 4 grown children & 6 grandchildren.  He is a sales and mfg. engineer in metals and plastics.  Duane is active in the Boy Scouts of America and has been for most of his life.  The Civil War has been a life long interest in which he is a student, teacher, and collector.  He has visited the majority of battlefields, some, many times.

His other interest is single malt Scotch of which he keeps on a collectible basis for only a short period of time.
